Why should this still be the case when so much technology exists to solve these problems?

AYU was born from the founding team’s experience and frustration working in alternative
investment - from wasting far too much time and money connecting ideas, people, capital and opportunity.

AYU was built to connect people and is founded on the principle of value in trusted networks and community.

How we do it.

We connect qualified and expert investment professionals as they should be connected, through a dedicated
membership platform and events where community engagement and input creates a network of trust.

All AYU applicants are vetted by our global committee to ensure they are relevant and can offer
value to the community. Once admitted, our open peer-review systems ensures members have the ability to
reference and self-regulate each other.

What we do.

Our contention is that every industry will soon have its own private digital network. Many already do.

We have built one for alternative investment.

• We offer our vetted and approved members the opportunity to connect with each other on a private
  and encrypted platform, in order to build alternative investment business relationships.

• We showcase all relevant industry events (not just our own) and allow our members to see who else is going to gauge attendance value.

• We aggregate industry news from trusted sources only. This removes the newsfeed noise and keeps you informed, every day.

• We provide unique and privileged access to global brand partners for use at work and play, making life that little bit easier & delightful.

• And finally, we regularly invite our global community to exclusive events around the world to meet each other in person.

Who is AYU for?

• The majority of AYU members are professionals working in hedge funds, family offices and institutional investment organisations.

• Our community is carefully curated so all members are relevant to each other.

• All applicants must have peer references and are vetted by our committee.

• They must also adhere to our rules and etiquette to retain membership once admitted.

• We welcome members of all nationalities regardless of race, religion, age, orientation or identity.

• A small minority of our membership is available to select industry service providers.

• Professionals working in Private Equity, Real Estate, Venture Capital (and other alternative investing disciplines) will be invited to join AYU in the future.

• We do not permit third party marketers, sales agents or brokers as members.

• AYU maintains a policy of True Representation which requires all applicants and members to present themselves accurately.
  Should an applicant submit or uphold a false representation of themselves or their business activities, they will be barred from all future involvement with the AYU community.

The AYU Foundation is central to AYU membership. We are focused on helping others improve their lives through community support, fundraising and positive action. Working in partnership with a number of charities both in the UK and internationally, principally the Prince’s Trust,
