AYU Family Office Summit

London, October 2026

family office networking event in London

A day built around candid conversation, considered capital and the kind of introductions that only happen when the right people are in the same room.

On 8th October, over 100 family offices and a select group of investment professionals gathered at Chiswick House and Gardens for The AYU Family Office Summit London 2026. It was a day built around candid conversation, considered capital and the kind of introductions that only happen when the right people are in the same room.

The Summit has always had a clear purpose: to further the professionalisation of the family office world and to build a global standard and community grounded in cooperation. This year, that ambition felt closer than ever. From the first coffee to the last wee dram, the day moved between forum debates, open pitches and a full programme of 1-2-1 investment meetings, with access for GPs and founders kept deliberately tight at just a handful of organisations.

Here is our look back at the day.

A special thank you to our headline sponsors

None of this would have been possible without our headline sponsors, Jersey Finance and ECI.

Jersey Finance has been a long-standing friend of AYU and a returning sponsor of the Summit. As the voice of one of the world's leading international finance centres, Jersey Finance brings a depth of understanding of private wealth, family governance and cross-border structuring that sits right at the heart of what family offices are navigating today. Their continued support speaks to a shared belief in a more connected, more professional family office community. Find out more at www.jerseyfinance.com.

ECI joined us as a headline sponsor this year. Partnering with family offices and investment firms to make technology simpler, more secure and ready for what's next, ECI brings expertise from managed IT and cybersecurity to cloud, data and AI. They help firms build resilient technology environments while navigating the security, governance and operational demands unique to financial services. Their support as headline sponsor speaks to a shared commitment to the family office community. Find out more at www.eci.com.

To both teams: thank you for backing the Summit, for showing up so generously on the day, and for helping us create something our members will be talking about for months.

What we talked about

We opened by zooming out. The shifting map of global wealth, where it is being created and where it is moving, set the context for everything that followed, and it was clear how much those changes are reshaping the priorities of the families in the room.

From there, the conversation turned to how family offices are putting capital to work. Direct investing was a major theme, with co-investments, SPVs and secondaries all on the table as more offices build their own deal capability. Alongside it, fund selection prompted a thoughtful discussion on how to build real conviction in a manager and what good due diligence looks like today.

Some of the most engaged moments of the day came when the focus shifted from portfolios to people. Succession and the challenges facing the next generation sparked candid reflections on how families pass on not just capital but values and decision-making. That flowed naturally into the question of control: as structures grow more international and more layered, how do families keep a firm grip on increasingly complex wealth?

We also got practical about the family office itself. Talent, cost and the operating model are front of mind for many of our members, from who to hire and what to outsource to keeping costs in proportion to the value delivered.

Woven through all of it were the 1-2-1 investment meetings, matched by Cupid, AYU Capital's proprietary AI capital concierge. Cupid assessed each GP opportunity against the live investment mandates and appetites of our family office attendees and the AYU Capital Concierge team were there to curate, so every meeting on the day connected family offices with the GPs and founders most relevant to them. For many attendees, this is where the real value of the summit lies. And as always, the day ended the AYU way, with drinks, artisan pizza and the kind of easy conversation around the fire pit that turns a contact into a relationship.

A highlight of the day was the Whisky Lounge, sponsored by Speyside Capital. Set around an open fire, the lounge offered a relaxed space to network, with whisky tasting running throughout the evening. Our thanks to the Speyside Capital team for hosting such a warm and welcoming corner of the Summit.

Thank you to all our sponsors

Alongside Jersey Finance and ECI, the Summit was made possible by an outstanding group of sponsors and partners. Our sincere thanks to:

Goldman Sachs Asset Management, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Barclays Investment Bank, Quilvest Capital Partners, JTC Private Office, Speyside Capital, RFA, Riscura, Landytech, Leela and Bron.

Each brought expertise, generosity and great company to the day, and we are grateful to every one of them for helping us build a stronger family office community.

Until next time

If one thread ran through the day, it was this: family offices are becoming more sophisticated, more direct and more connected, and they want peers and partners they can trust. That is exactly the community AYU exists to build.

Thank you to every family office, GP, founder, speaker and sponsor who joined us at Chiswick House and Gardens. The conversations do not stop here. Members can stay connected and keep those introductions moving through the AYU app, and we will be sharing more from the Summit in the weeks ahead.

If you are a family office interested in joining the AYU Approved Family Office program, or a fund or founder keen to be part of future events, we would love to hear from you at hello@thisisayu.com.

AYU Approved family offices attend these events for free, join us for the next one?
